The Midtown Farmers Market showcases local agriculture, prepared foods, artisans, and crafters while providing an opportunity for Midtown residents and business owners to discover regionally grown foods. Anchored in the heart of Midtown, the market serves as a lively and fun gathering place where Sacramentans can come together to shop and enjoy the community with neighbors and visitors alike.
Midtown Farmers Market boasts an impressive block of food trucks and hot foods, the best artisans and crafters of the region, as well as special activations throughout the year. The second Saturday at Midtown Farmers Market is a showcase of market vendors offering classes and demonstrations. The Street Food Sacramento grant program allows grantees of underrepresented groups access to a thriving marketplace. Special activations happen year-round through various celebrations such as PRIDE month, Black History Month, AAPI Heritage Month, and Women’s History Month. Live music is available every week and visitors are encouraged to sit back and relax in the provided seating under the market umbrellas.
In addition to these programs, the Midtown Farmers Market supports ReSoil Sacramento in composting and the River City Food Bank for food donations to those in need. We also have a Kids’ Club to encourage youth to make their own healthy food choices. This robust and exciting market is a true Sacramento destination.

The market manager’s rude and egocentric behavior doesn’t diminish the market’s greatness, with its fantastic art displays, incredible live music, and diverse selection of food trucks

The farmers market manager has turned what was once a great market into a circus. She is a psychotic control freak and has no idea what she is doing.

I come to Midtown for the great energy, vendors, amazing flowers and especially like to watch the parade of all the different dogs people bring!
But most of all I get my greens at the
Green Smoothie kiosk!
