The Midtown Farmers Market showcases local agriculture, prepared foods, artisans, and crafters while providing an opportunity for Midtown residents and business owners to discover regionally grown foods. Anchored in the heart of Midtown, the market serves as a lively and fun gathering place where Sacramentans can come together to shop and enjoy the community with neighbors and visitors alike.
Midtown Farmers Market boasts an impressive block of food trucks and hot foods, the best artisans and crafters of the region, as well as special activations throughout the year. The second Saturday at Midtown Farmers Market is a showcase of market vendors offering classes and demonstrations. The Street Food Sacramento grant program allows grantees of underrepresented groups access to a thriving marketplace. Special activations happen year-round through various celebrations such as PRIDE month, Black History Month, AAPI Heritage Month, and Women’s History Month. Live music is available every week and visitors are encouraged to sit back and relax in the provided seating under the market umbrellas.
In addition to these programs, the Midtown Farmers Market supports ReSoil Sacramento in composting and the River City Food Bank for food donations to those in need. We also have a Kids’ Club to encourage youth to make their own healthy food choices. This robust and exciting market is a true Sacramento destination.

This is a great farmers’ market, and it’s expanded in the past year to accommodate even more farmers than before. It’s very family-friendly, and the diversity of shoppers and vendors adds to a great experience. I look forward all week long to my walk to this market!
This market it flourishing. It’s clear and apparent farmers are joining in droves. Must be well ran.
Midtown Farmers Market is the highlight of my week and a great way to start the weekend. The customers and vendors here are a great reflection of Midtown’s diversity. I appreciate all of the farmers at this market for helping to make fresh and local food accessible to our community.
