Corvallis Saturday, the youngest of the farmers’ markets operated by Corvallis-Albany Farmers’ Markets, takes place on city streets adjacent to Riverfront Commemorative Park, near several restaurants and other food-related businesses. A Wednesday market operates in a portion of the Saturday site. The farmers’ market is at the heart of a vibrant food scene seldom seen in a community of this size.
Corvallis-Albany Farmers’ Markets operates outdoor farmers’ markets that are known for their wide selection of local Willamette Valley organic and conventionally grown fruits and vegetables, cut flowers, nursery plants and herbs. Homemade baked goods, jams, preserves, syrups, honey, cheese, eggs, nuts, meats and poultry broaden the offerings and help extend the market season. Sustainable meat and poultry in particular have expanded in recent years as more farmers strive to help consumers replace quantity with quality.
We focus on farm direct marketers whose farms are in a six county area: Benton, Linn, Lincoln, Lane, Marion and Polk counties. The few non-grown vendors in our markets (bakers and restaurants) are held to high standards of local sourcing.
As our mid-April to late November season progresses, the colorscape of the markets evolves from a sea of many greens, punctuated by a flashes of red and white, to the full palette of fall colors. Our larger farmers grow a lot under cover to extend seasons, so you may see produce over a longer span than you expect.
Music and special events add to the community atmosphere. Extras include hands-on children’s activities, cooking demonstrations and tastings. Most events are carried out by community organizations and other volunteers.

Love Saturday Market. Bustling downtown and such a huge variety of produce from local farms, many other vendors selling crafts and other goods. Music.
I enjoy the Wednesday market because it is easier to find a place to-park and not as crowded. It nicer to see what you can afford and get
Corvallis market offers a large variety of farm-stands and other vendors that seems to continue to grow. Lots of fun. Get there early, as parking can sometimes be a bit of an issue.
I visited this market from out of town (Dallas, Oregon) and was completely blown away! The vendors are friendly, knowledgable, and ready to serve your needs! There are many amazing varieties of produce, meat, flower, plants, and hand-made items. Parking is a bit crazy if you are not familiar with the area, but it was well worth the trip!
