"... family farmers are the backbone of America's agriculture industry. The food is healthier, there are fewer pesticides, and family farms do more to boost the local economy. I live in Sitka, Alaska, where we struggle with food security because we're on a remote island (no roads connect us to other communities), and seeing a few new farms start up in town is good to see."
