Located in the gorgeous Morrow’s Meadow Park at 1901 S. Tiger Dr., we are a growing farm, food, and artisan Market in the charming small town of Yorktown, IN, a town known for our gorgeous parks, great schools, and extensive walking trails. Morrow’s Meadow Park has several playgrounds, trails, and is the launching site for kayak trips on the White River, so it’s the perfect location for a farmers market. From our roster of over 90 local vendors, each week 50-65 vendors are a part of our bustling market. In addition to our regular vendors, we have a monthly Young Entrepreneur program, live music, and food trucks. We also enjoy special visits from a local farm for a farm animal petting zoo, visits from a local chef for cooking demonstrations, and visits from Orchestra Indiana for an instrument petting zoo. Children who visit our market each week can stop by our Power of Produce tent to receive a $2 token to buy produce at the market. We love that our market has become a place for our community to connect and a place for small businesses to grow. We’ve even had one business that started at the market grow into a storefront in our downtown. We are a site for DoubleUp Indiana, so customers can double their SNAP dollars at our market. Going to the market every Friday evening is the highlight of our week! It’s the perfect place for families to meet up with their friends to visit and enjoy some delicious food. The great benefit of a community farmers market is that we’ve also become friends with the farmers who grow and raise our food. The Yorktown Farmers Market is very well run, is in a beautiful location, and has a great variety of vendors. Way to go, Yorktown!

It’s exciting to see how the Yorktown Farmers Marketplace has grown over the last few years. The setting in the beautiful Walnut Grove in a park by the river is perfect for vendors and customers. The community is so supportive and the vendors are top-notch. It’s also nice to see children get involved as junior vendors. I love being able to have dinner at the Market, shop for the week, and listen to some live music as well. I look forward to the Market every week!
