The Wayland Farmers Market on Main Street operates in partnership with the Wayland Main Street/Downtown Development Authority and the Henika District Library, our host site (address: 149 South Main Street, Wayland, MI 49348). The threads of Wayland’s agricultural history weave together here, from the farm-milled fieldstone in the library walls, the legacy of our era as “Dahlia City,” to today, with vendors who continue (or start!) their own family farms. We are an outdoor seasonal market that features fresh produce, vegetable plants, honey, maple syrup, baked goods, eggs, homemade soaps, and artisanal crafts. We welcome regular customers, first-timers, and visitors from Michigan and beyond to experience the joy and convenience of high-quality local products, direct from vendors we know and trust. Our mission is to grow and develop the market to support our local farmers, food entrepreneurs, and downtown businesses, as well as a provide a facilitative space each week for engaging conversations, nutrition education, and knowledge-sharing.
