My experience at this market near the Long Beach Marina on Sunday’s has a size-able representation of re-sellers and are not the farmers at all
It seems to cater to a demographic that likes the “concept” of buying direct food and have the wallet to back it up but might not understand subtle differences between organic, sustainable and conventional farming practices
One of the booths sells kettle corn and another banana pudding for instance
A bit “carnivalesque” for me
Without farms, our markets and tables would be empty. Get a free "No Farms No Food" bumper sticker to show off your support of America's farmers and ranchers.
