The Pepper Place Saturday Market was established in 2000 to help small family farms. The market has grown from a dozen tents to almost 100. In addition to farmers, the market is home to local artisans, food producers, musicians and chefs!

One of the first public Farmers Markets in Alabama, the Market at Pepper Place has become a point of connection for the community on so many fronts. It connects local makers & farmers to the general public – an access point that they didn’t previously have. It connects community members – you’ll often unexpectedly run into friends throughout the Market. And it’s a connection point for our Alabama heritage – the more you shop at the Market, the more pride you take in supporting our state’s farmers.
Whether you're a market manager looking for best practices in the age of COVID-19 or a consumer who wants to embrace their local food system, we can help.
