This is the cutest little farmer’s market you’ll ever see! It is nestled in the beautiful little town of Occidental in Sonoma County. We loved its local atmosphere, quality produce and trust, creativity and open-mindness of the people. It brings you back to a romantic and peaceful part of California. and you can do a good deed by supporting LOCALLY grown goods. You should go!
This is a dreamy little market! We popped in thinking we’d just grab some essentials but we ended up getting so many great items; fresh fish and sausage, beautiful tomatoes and hippie dust popcorn! We were delighted by this little wonder of a store!
This is the REAL DEAL. Most of the vendors come from just a few miles away, making this a LOCAL market. If you want to know where the “hippies” went to after the 60’s, many came here. The VIBE is GREAT! Great produce, baked goods, cheese and meat, as well as crafts, and prepared food (Lata’s Indian is a favorite), along with local entertainment. WELL WORTH A TRIP. We are now post-COVID.
This is truly a LOCALS market. I’d guess that most of the vendors come from 15 miles or less. Occidental iws an old logging town going back over 100 years, with a hotel about 150 years old. If you want to know where the “hippies” migrated to, check out Occidental.
