Join us under the old oak trees in downtown Savannah’s Forsyth Park every Saturday. We are located at the south end of Forsyth Park at the intersection of Bull Street and Park Avenue. Savannah’s food-only, producer-only market where 40 vendors on any given Saturday offer fresh produce, pastured meats, local honey, artisan dairy and cheeses, craft breads, baked goods, and a wide variety of prepared foods. All vendors come within a 200-mile radius of Savannah.

The Forsyth Farmers Market is a beacon of light for our community. Their expansion into the realm of taking the market mobile has increased the availability of fresh, locally grown food to those who may not be able to access it otherwise. They have also made it possible for families who rely on food stamps to use them to purchase goods – in this we are all supporting eachother and building on the one thing that connects us all – Food. Our Farmers market may not be the largest but it and those who support, volunteer and grow for it make a HUGE difference!

FFM is a critical link to all of Savannah and Chatman County Specifically the underserved community – they accept SNAP/EBT and DOUBLE those dollars through Wholesome Wave Georgia and local donations. FFM remains a TRUE Farmers Market – you will not find arts and crafts at this market. It always is a way to engage the community – I go for some organic beets etc. on any given Saturday morning and end up spending 3 hours engaging with friends and gaining new friends! They have grown so much since their beginnings in 2009. They have been able to launch FarmTruck 912 – a mobile farmers market reaching more of the underserved community / they are awesome!!
