Round Mountain Woodworks! Marty Goldfarb is one artisan not to miss. Pick up a Jenga game to unplug the kids and develop real eye-hand coordination. He makes other fine wood crafts too. (Disclosure: he’s my cousin)
I have loved our Fayetteville Farmers Market since it started! Wonderful people and delicious varieties. During the pandemic they figured out how to keep it going and be safe and keep everyone safe. They are an amazing group!!!
I have been shopping and enjoying the Fayetteville Farmers Market since 1993. I love it! There is nothing like Saturday morning at the market all around the square with fresh food, flowers, art and craft, and music, music, music. The market encourages SNAP and EBT use to allow all Fayettevillians to enjoy fresh fruit and veggies. Also, the market pivoted to online ordering and curbside pick-up during the worst of the pandemic, keeping growers in business and allowing the rest of us to shop safely.
I have been going to the Fayetteville Farmer’s Markey since moving here in 2005. The vendors, the produce and art and crafts are second to none. The market is one of the hubs of community here, true jewel. Thanks and keep up both great work and community building.
The Fayetteville Farmers Market has previously been voted best in the nation, and deservedly so. Not only for the wide variety of locally grown produce, but also for the wide variety of social interactions it enables.
The Fayetteville Farmer’s Market is an amazing place to go. It has been an excellent business opportunity. I love the way the farmer’s market provides opportunity for growth and development to its members.
The Fayetteville Farmers Market is so lovely! Amazing produce, beautiful stems and bouquets of flowers, potted plants, meat, cheese, bread, treats, soaps, knife sharpening, and music fill the square with life. I love coming up on Tuesdays or Thursdays with my baby and taking it all in under the trees of the garden and on Saturdays with the whole family. So many dogs and people to say good morning to!
It’s the place to be and be seen…everyone (and their dog!) comes out on Saturday morning to buy fresh local veggies, cheeses, baked goods, arts and crafts… and to listen to music. It’s just a fun place to be, plus you’re supporting local farmers and buying fresh local food!
Lively, organic, beautiful musical gatherings. My father, Ben Johnson III, was in Fayetteville to help start it with Wilbur Watson in the early 1970s. He brought pears from his family’s Johnson Historic Farm.
Without farms, our markets and tables would be empty. Get a free "No Farms No Food" bumper sticker to show off your support of America's farmers and ranchers.
