Broad and delicious weekly selections from friendly vendors, fun for kids and adults, all under the stewardship of the most thoughtful and knowledgeable Market Manager.
Longtime community treasure of Evanston is our Downtown Farmers Market on
Saturday morning til early afternoon! Fruits, vegetables, preserves, cheeses, breads, honeys, spices and more surprises all combine as to why we’re happy to sing our praises! Yet the very best is seeing neighbors and friends!
Another wonderful ingredient is the weekly
non-profit community group offering their
specialty baked goods, homemade foods, arts, or crafts for small donations. Strolling
musicians often enhance the festivities!
This large market has predominantly organic produce and products from area farms and businesses. The variety of products is amazing–from gorgeous produce to family owned farm raised eggs, butter and meat, crafted cheeses, honey, breads and plants and flowers. I do most of my shopping at the market during the summer. It is a happy, nurturing place.
Without farms, our markets and tables would be empty. Get a free "No Farms No Food" bumper sticker to show off your support of America's farmers and ranchers.

This is a great location for a Farmers Market with the attached parking. Always a great selection. A taste of the farm in an urban setting.
