In 1995, the Del Ray Farmers Market was formed and helped revitalize the Del Ray neighborhood in Alexandria, Virginia. It focused on producer only and organic produce long before either was in vogue. It’s now a gathering place, an incubator for small businesses, and supporter of family farms. It is the heart of our community!
