Founded in 1987, the Boulder County Farmers Markets operates four markets in the heart of Boulder County. All markets are strictly growers-only, representing 67 farmers and ranchers, and over 50 local food artisans who sell only what they grow or make. Products include fresh vegetables and fruit, cut flowers, meats, cheese, dairy, eggs, nursery stock, bedding plants, honey, wine, packaged foods, and prepared foods for immediate consumption- grown or produced in Boulder and, with exception, neighboring counties.

The Boulder Farmers Market, celebrating 30 years of supporting local agriculture, was founded by and continues to be run by local farmers. The market is a staple in Boulder’s culture and a gathering place for those passionate about good food, farming, and community. The Boulder market is not only the largest producer-only marketplace in the state, but it is an incredible incubator for natural foods products, like Justin’s Nut Butter, Noosa Yoghurt, and Hope Hummus. The market was voted best in the country by USA Today readers in 2015.
