In May 2010, the Beaumont Farmers Market opened with six vendors and when it closed the market had recruited a total of sixteen vendors. Now operating Mid-January through Mid-December, the Beaumont Farmers Market regularly hosts twenty weekly vendors and another ten + seasonal vendors. In 2018 the market was officially recognized as a 501 © 3 non-profit organization. The open-air market provides increase economic opportunities for small farmers, consumer education about local farming and seasonality of production and a fun social setting for the community to shop for fresh, locally grown produce and other homemade foods. In 2022 The Beaumont Farmers Market began accepting EBT cards, implementing SNAP providing fresh food to all within the area.
