A quintessential New England market, the market features fresh fruits and vegetables, local cheeses, organic meats, jams, jellies, and preserves, local honey, homemade crusty breads, baked goods and pastries, take home prepared foods, unique crafts, handmade soap, and, of course, small batch Vermont maple syrup. The Arlington Village Farmers Market provides a place for the local inhabitants to buy and sell their produced goods; we are a producer only market, and the majority of all vendors must be agricultural, with our rule being: “If you don’t grow it, bake it or make it, don’t bring it to market!” We provide support for local agriculture, local farms and farmers; providing a direct marketing outlet for Vermont farmers and food and craft artisans; that being a primarily agricultural market with emphasis on consumers having an authentic experience meeting the producers face to face and to help promote small family farms.
