Cook’s Market, in operation for over 15 years at Rutgers Gardens, serves the Rutgers campus and local community with sustainably grown seasonal produce including vegetables from the Rutgers Gardens Student Farm. Our vendors specialize in local honey, homemade jams, pickles, olive oils, natural soaps, baked goods, craft spirits, grassfed local meats, and plenty of freshly prepared meal options. We also sell live plants from Rutgers Gardens and local flower farms.

I love this Farmers Market because it connects the community of New Brunswick to fresh, organic produce from local farmers. Besides having some of the best selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, vendors at the Rutgers Gardens Farm Market also produce amazing products like pickles, pesto, fresh salads, pierogies, free range meat, baked goods, beautiful wine, kettle corn, and the best darn cup of coffee you’ve ever had. Every week I am pleasantly surprised by the options the vendors bring to the market, as well as the weekly special events like cooking demonstrations and local food trucks. Rutgers Gardens Farmers Market is the best one for me!!
