Since 1972, the Dane County Farmers’ Market has worked to provide Wisconsin producers a thriving alternative marketing opportunity and improve the variety, freshness, and taste of produce available in the region. The Dane County Farmers’ Market on the Square is a Saturday and Wednesday tradition in Madison, Wisconsin. You’ll find the season’s best bounty of vegetables, flowers, meats, cheeses, and specialty products from approximately 230 vendors throughout the year. Over 100 members attend every Saturday. All of the items for sale are grown, raised, and produced in Wisconsin by the person behind the stand. The DCFM operates year-round, rain or shine. The outdoor season runs from mid-April to mid-November. The indoor Holiday Market runs from mid-November to December and the indoor Late Winter Market runs from January to mid-April.
